At Chiang Mai Christian Fellowship (CCF)<\/strong>, our prayer has always been that everyone who walks through our doors\u2014regardless of their background, culture, or past\u2014would encounter the life-changing love of Jesus Christ and find a true spiritual family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As God continues to work across our church, we rejoice over the many lives being transformed by the Gospel. Here are two personal stories from members of our congregation who recently put their faith in Christ and were baptized at CCF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mei\u2019s Story: From Intellectual Pride to Heavenly Love<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For forty years, Mei\u2019s* foundation was built on logic, intellect, and self-reliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In the past, I firmly believed in science,”<\/em> Mei shares. “I always thought that science could solve everything\u2014and if it couldn’t, it simply meant that I hadn’t studied deeply enough. However, when I reached the age of forty, I realized that even as my knowledge continued to grow, there was still a deep sense of coldness and emptiness within my heart.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Seeking answers, Mei began attending a home Bible study fellowship hosted by a church member. For over six months, she listened, observed, and wrestled with questions. The turning point came the first time she stepped into CCF and heard a message echoing the heart of the Gospel: \u201cNo matter who you are, no matter what you have done, God always loves you.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At those words, the emotional wall she had built for decades collapsed. Tears poured down her face as she touched the tangible love of God for the very first time. She realized that this personal relationship with her Creator was the missing piece she had been searching for all her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early in 2025, Mei was baptized at CCF. Since then, her life has shifted dramatically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Rooted in Scripture:<\/strong> Regular prayer and Scripture reading bring clarity to her confusion and strength to face daily life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Freedom from Anxiety:<\/strong> The endless urge to control everything and her constant anxiety have faded into a deep, abiding peace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Warmth in Fellowship:<\/strong> She has found a loving Christian community where she experiences genuine connection and warmth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    “Looking back, I realize that my tightly furrowed brow has begun to relax,”<\/em> Mei reflects. “I am willing to trust that my Heavenly Father is always with me, and I can fully rely on Him, because I know that I am His deeply loved child.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Bo\u2019s Story: Protection, Healing, and Inner Renewal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Before coming to faith, Bo* lived under the assumption that his life, his family\u2019s well-being, and his success rested entirely on his own strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    “Before I was baptized, I had actually been living under the Lord\u2019s protection all along, yet I was completely unaware of it,”<\/em> Bo says. “Looking back now, I realize how ignorant I was.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    God\u2019s sovereign hand guided Bo away from other nations and brought him directly to Chiang Mai. Shortly after arriving, he was invited to a local home Bible study. Week after week, he engaged with Scripture, and after seven months of study and fellowship, Bo accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at CCF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As Bo stepped into faith, God demonstrated His power and care in a deeply personal way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Bo\u2019s young son had suffered from Tourette\u2019s syndrome since childhood, a condition that had brought years of stress and heartache to the family. When the brothers and sisters in their Bible study group learned about his son’s condition, they immediately surrounded the family in prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Within a month of faithful prayer, the symptoms that had troubled his son for years completely vanished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    “I was deeply amazed,”<\/em> Bo shares. “God truly hears my prayers, and He truly loves me.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    The transformation didn’t stop with physical healing; God began working directly on Bo\u2019s heart:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
