In the rural northeastern region of Thailand (Isan), digital access has expanded at a rapid pace. While smartphones bring new educational opportunities, they also expose children to sophisticated online grooming and sexual exploitation tactics. Many frontline adults\u2014school principals, teachers, and local government officers\u2014remained unaware of these emerging digital threats, leaving children dangerously vulnerable to predators operating in the palms of their hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing this critical gap, \u0e1a\u0e49\u0e32\u0e19\u0e41\u0e2a\u0e07\u0e2a\u0e27\u0e48\u0e32\u0e07<\/strong> stepped in to bridge the divide between digital risks and practical protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mobilizing Frontline Leaders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To build a proactive defense network, The Light Center hosted a multi-stakeholder safety seminar, bringing together educators and leaders from 10 local schools<\/strong> alongside staff from 5 government departments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training was led by experienced federal police officers specializing in online child sexual exploitation cases, who provided real-world insights, actionable intervention tools, and clear reporting pathways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
