“For many young students, this was the very first time they had ever heard the Gospel message—that Jesus is the greatest gift in life.”
Christmas is a season that radiates the transformative love, peace, and generosity of Christ. In December 2025, our outreach team traveled to a rural district in Nakhon Ratchasima Province to join arms with a dedicated ministry partner called to pioneer a local church work in the region.
Together, we served alongside a local pioneering congregation—a young, vibrant church that had been planted just one year prior. Though small, with aroun
d 20 faithful believers gathering weekly for worship, the church overflowed with excitement for the Gospel. Members eagerly shared testimonies of how coming to know Jesus had changed their lives, and they generously set aside time to pack Christmas gift sets to bless local school children.
Reaching a Region with Few Believers
This rural district is a challenging harvest field where Christians represent a tiny fraction of the population, with only two small churches in the entire area. Local believers face significant hurdles when sharing their faith.
For a small, newly planted church, reaching out into the broader community requires immense courage, encouragement, and practical opportunities to build genuine, trusting relationships with neighbors and schools.
Christmas Blessing & Road Safety: A Powerful Witness
To bridge this gap, our team collaborated with the local church to host a Christmas Blessing Event at a regional school, welcoming over 400 students!
The atmosphere was filled with festive Christmas carols, joyful games, and laughter. Amid the celebrations, our team shared the true heart of Christmas—proclaiming the Good News that Jesus Christ is the greatest gift anyone can ever receive.
To demonstrate Christ’s love in a practical way, the event integrated life-saving safety initiatives:
- Safe Journey Helmets: The Safe Journey project provided 100 motorcycle helmets to underprivileged students who commuted without protective gear.
- Traffic Safety Education: Officers from the local police station facilitated an interactive road safety session, teaching students how proper helmet use protects their physical lives.
- Christmas Gift Sets: Every single one of the 400 students received a specially prepared Christmas gift pack from the church.
Encouraging the Local Church and Sowing Hope
While the physical helmets protect young lives on the road every day, the real victory of the event was spiritual: hundreds of youth heard about the eternal safety, peace, and hope offered through Jesus Christ.
This outreach was far more than a holiday event. It served as a powerful shot of encouragement to a small, pioneering church in a tough area, proving that they are not alone. Most importantly, it planted seeds of the Gospel into the hearts of hundreds of young students—seeds that will continue to grow for generations to come.
