Mission
Make Jesus known by transforming communities of the Lahu-speaking people and other minorities in Southeast Asia through spiritual training and social development programs.

Vision
To see every hilltribe community in SE Asia transformed by the Gospel.

Profile
Lahu Living Word is focused on the social and spiritual development of the Lahu-speaking people and other minorities in SE Asia. We train, mentor, and empower individuals and families to make wise choices and become agents of positive transformation in their communities. Our correspondence course, currently available in the Lahu, Burmese and Akha languages, helps people of all walks of life to gain a clear understanding of the gospel and receive a solid foundation of basic Bible knowledge. Our traveling team meets regularly with students to answer questions and provide mentoring. Our Biblical Leadership Training program provides group instruction to those who desire further Biblical training. Through teaching, mentoring and long-term follow-up, we endeavor to develop leaders for churches and communities who will live as disciples of Jesus and help others do the same.

Our social development programs include providing literacy training and hosting workshops that strengthen families. We also partner with other FCF projects to distribute food relief and provide sustainable income generation opportunities to those in need. In all that we do, our focus is making Jesus known, and our prayer is that God will send forth His word with power so that many hearts are transformed, and every village sings His praise.
