Journey seeks to provide students with the opportunity for success and tools for learning life skills. As the students grow in confidence and self-esteem, they learn that God has uniquely created them with an important purpose in life. This will lead to the transformation of the individual and communities and will proactively help protect students from human trafficking and other social ills. This program empowers them for healthy relationships in all areas of life, improves the family unit and rapport with peers, teachers, and those in authority. Staff will follow up with caregivers to cultivate communication and promote a positive home life. Staff and volunteers interact with secondary school students in an after-school program to teach skills, foster character development, and help them gain truth through the tested precepts of the Bible. All of this equips them to be healthy leaders in their family, community, and workplace for God’s honor and glory.
